Carnival pins?

I am on The Paradise on the 21st doing a B2B-2B-2B, you could of had a couple of these pins.

Found the pins I needed. They were stuffed in a drawer, where I found them when doing winter cleaning!

 

I just emailed customer service for Paradise and Inspiration pins.

 

 

I didn't realize Carnival would send pins to cruisers. I only have three pins out of the ten cruises I've been on out of seven different ships. I would need Fascination, Inspiration, Victory, Sensation and Paradise. Thanks for the info.

Suggestion:

Early on... i.e. first day of your cruise..

let your cabin steward and his assistant know you're a collector!

Don't get all shy now!

Press a fiver on a ten into his hand and ask him to look thru his store-room for any extras.

Over the next six to seven days, you'd be surprised what little goodies might turn up!

I get rare (crew-only) ship-cards this way!

 

 

One night I returned to my cabin to discover my cap had acquired an extra pin

-a rather nice Platinum pin saying Glory - 2013!

At that point, I hadn't asked him for pins,

but he must've noticed that my cap had several other pins arranged here and there.

Other thing:

Compile a comprehensive cruise history of your Carnival cruises

including Name of ship. Sailing Date. Cabin number.

Booking number and voyage number if possible.

Your names and birth dates.

 

Send this info via email to Carnival

with your request for missing pins for ships you've sailed on.

 

I just did this about a month ago

and was surprised at what they sent me, and how quickly they responded. ;)

That's a lot of good information !

We weren't ever expecting pins, we were surprised to see the Triumph pins on our bed with an invitation to the past guest party. It said past guest on the pin card, so we thought we got them because we had been on the Fantasy cruise years before. Then when on the Victory cruise we got the invitation cards to the past guest party but no pins included. At the time I had a quick thought we might receive them at the party, but no did not and didn't think about them anymore. So we thought maybe they don't do them anymore.

I've had these cruise critic threads pop up on my e-mails occasionally over the years, and looked in on this pin one yesterday being our cruise is in a few weeks and it spiked my interest again.

This cruise we should get gold pins (vifp), not sure what all this means, but we saw this somewhere on the Carnival site we have been getting emails about since we booked this cruise coming up. also a free drink at dining it says there too.

I did email Carnival asking for a Fantasy pin some years ago, but did not get a reply, as someone on here gave that same information to try. But it wouldn't hurt to try this again. Wish me luck :)

I never thought about cruises offering pins. I collected Olympic pins for 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Once that was over, I started collected pins from places that I traveled too, so I have pins from all the ports from my cruises. I don't think I have any ship pins. I did a search on Ebay and saw all kinds of pins for sale and made offers on some. I couldn't believe how much they were asking for the Carnival Celebration pin... $40.00 & $50.00! Wow!

That's because Celebration was handed over to IberoCruises in Spain

some years ago -and so there are no more Celebration pins to be issued.

She is now named Grand Celebration.

It may not make a difference to you but know that he is out there selling knock offs. Those of us long time collectors tried to have EB intervene and boot him off but it wasn't long before they showed up again. I believe the seller changes screen name often

I love that you posted the old Celebration. Looks so different now. We sailed her 3 times in 90 and early 2000's when she was pretty new back then.

Does anyone know of an album system or other suitable storage/display system

whereby we can keep all our pins in one attractive and safe storage space?

 

 

My cruise card collection goes into plastic credit/business-card sleeves --in a 3-ring binder.

Easy enough solution, very neat and compact.

But coming up with something similar for more-bulky PINS is another matter. :cool:
