Sorry to hear that Richard Spacey will most likely not be on our 8/2 sailing. I was so looking forward to meeting him as I've read that he's very good. However, I'm relieved to know that the activities director is good too. Anything else you can tell us about Leigh? Male, female? Not that it matters as long as he/she can show us a good time:D

 

We had them both on our cruise last week, and we LOVED Leigh. He is every bit as brilliant and energetic as Richard. He is warm, approachable, friendly, funny, etc. He really knows how to run activities and shows, and I would absolutely go out of my way to cruise with him again!

 

He's probably early 30's, Australian, but his surname is a common Maltese name pronounced Schwer-eb.

Thanks to the webcam owner zooming in, I was able to see three of the 5 Balconies we had on prior sailings, 2 OS and a JS on the starboard side. The nerve of other people cruising in them and not inviting me...:p

Does anyone have recent experience in the Explorer casino?..

 

Do they still have the Wheel of Fortune machine? .. do recall where in the casino it is?

 

 

What are they offering for poker? I know they have been running the tournaments for each cruise, is that still going? On Jewel, we had some cash games going with the dealer provided... do they do that on Explorer?

 

 

and because you all are so nice... here is another shot form my Aft Balcony cruise on Explorer.... I have long arms.. the camera has a fisheye lens which is great for shots like this, but it can be confusing to the eye if you aren't expecting it...

... those windows in the cirved wall are the main dining room..... I think it is deck 4... and yes.. it goes all the way around....up front you have to climb step to access the Heliport area.. they occasionally shut off access... yet one time is what chained off on the port side, but not on the starboard.....

 

here is a day time picture... This happy young woman was on her way to work... it is the same area of the ship from another angle..
