Free E-mail through Carnival from ship to home?

We are cruising in 2 days on Carnival Legend and I really think I read somewhere that you can somehow email using the Carnival website and they do not charge you for this. Can anyone tell me how to find out more info about this? Of course I can't find it again on my own! :confused:

I don't think any cruise line gives free e mail or Internet, except to high status repeat cruisers. Some give you an onboard e mail address, but using it to send e mail isn't free.
