The Serenity area is seperate from the spa, and there is no charge.

I had the same question when I sailed on Destiny. I went directly to the spa staff at the desk. Her answer: "The gym, steam room, sauna and some (group) classes are complimentary. Spa services (and some classes) require a fee." Those classes which require a fee will be noted.

Unfortunately the steam room was closed when I tried to use it, but the sauna was just as lovely. Enjoy! :)

I had a spa cabin on the Dream, and I may never be able to cruise any other way again. The spas cabins have a separate entrance to the Cloud 9 Spa (big deal) and access to the Thalassotherapy pool and thermal suite is limited to those in the spa cabins and a few other passengers who pay extra for passes. The cabins are stocked with specialty soaps and lotions. The decor is better, the towels are fluffier, the air is brighter, the breeze is balmier...

Seriously, the Thalossotherapy pool and the hot stone loungers alone make it worth every nickel.

Ohh! Glad to hear you enjoyed the warm loungers, was wondering if I will enjoy them or the therapy pool. How is it different from a regular hot tub? And the thermal suite, is that the steam rooms that are open to everyone, or something else? Thanks:)
