GOOD? news for smokers

Your ability to detect the smell of smoke several hundred feet away, on a moving vessel, in the wind, with many other scents swirling around is indeed an amazing trait. Surely you can use this freak of nature ability you claim to have to serve mankind.

I didn't say that it was a big problem at a distance, but yes I can detect the smell of smoke on a moving ship from considerable distance as I can driving down the road from a car in front of me. On the road I can pass the car or truck & be in front but on a ship if someone 3 or 4 balconies upwind is smoking there's not much I can do about it until there finished & hope someone else doesn't light up, which usually happens.

Smokers can't possibly conceive of anyone being able to smell smoke because of their loss of ability to do the same. Their sense of smell has been dulled over the years.

should be on the outside of the ship rather than amidship so that the ventilation could be moving the smoke filled air outside. Ventilation is the main problem and they could control it better but they seem to want to force people into the casino no matter where they are heading unless they move to a different level to go forward or aft to get th their cabin or showroom or dining room. On one princess ship they had one smoking room where it was just a cloud of smoke although the room was on the outer edge and they could have ventilated it better. Of course, each time the door opened the smoke went into the piano bar and affected those closest to that room. Maybe they need a Behniana designer to show them how to disipate the smoke to benefit both smokers and non smokers.

startwin - it's happened again? I am just hitting the quote button. I don't know what is going on:confused: I'm going back to edit it.

That's what is causing the problem, your edit. Once you click on the quote button you must restrict your response to the area below the word

. Otherwise you'll have strange results like this.

Do what I do, type out your response on Word (or a similar word processing program), then when you're happy with what you wrote, copy it, then click the quote icon, then paste your response below the word

Also, ALWAYS preview your response before submitting your reply to be sure it is what you want to post.

Thanks Walt. I was kind of wondering how I got quoted for things I never posted. :D
