Nancynurse Posted July 3, 2011 #26 Share Posted July 3, 2011 Yeah good for you! We came across the same discount and grabbed it too. We scored two crown loft suites side by side for $200 more than the boardwalk balcony cabins we booked. Good luck with yours! Nancy

Nancy and you have had only 2 Royal Caribbean cruises prior to this one on the 16th. I thought Diamond Plus members were suppose to get those free upgrades? This sucks! Nancynurse Posted July 4, 2011 #29 Share Posted July 4, 2011 We are actually diamond because of our celebrity status and our previous RCI cruises were back to backs in suites. Nancy
Promise Posted July 5, 2011 #30 Share Posted July 5, 2011 My Husband and I are currently booked in a D1 cabin on Oasis. I noticed today that the price difference between our cabin and a suite guarantee is pretty small. If you had to choose between a suite guarantee and a D1, which would you choose? Our current cabin is in a decent location mid-ship, near the elevators but not right outside them, really close to central park. I know with a guarantee you have to be prepared to get the worst cabin in the category. Any advice? I would DEFINITELY go for the suite! Because you get double credit and the price is very good. Good luck, you might end up on even a higher cabin category. PLEASE, let us know when you get your cabin assignment.
BeachChairBabe Posted July 5, 2011 #31 Share Posted July 5, 2011 When does your room assignment actually get assigned when you book a guarantee?
NotTheBatesMotel Posted July 5, 2011 Author #32 Share Posted July 5, 2011 When does your room assignment actually get assigned when you book a guarantee? I read on CC that it's a random process. I guess it's done by a computer & can be anytime between booking and checking in! Sent from my HERO200 using Tapatalk
