SULLJO Posted July 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2011 Can anyone tell me if you book shore excursions online prior to the cruise if you can cancel them on the ship a few days ahead of time? Also are they cheaper online or the same price as on board? Thanks for your help. Joyce
Rare ghstudio Posted July 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2011 They are the same price. If the price on board is lower for some reason, they will refund the difference to your on-board account.
CHEZMARYLOU Posted July 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Yes, you can cancel once on board as long as you give the required notice (24 hours I think). The refund bill go on your sea pass card. Mary Lou

CHEZMARYLOU Posted November 3, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2011 If you end up with a large credit on your sea pass card because of cancelled excursions, do they issue the refund to your credit card at the end of the cruise? We've never had this situation but since you did prepay for an excursion that you were allowed to cancel without a penalty, they should issue the refund to your credit card at the end of the cruise. spursdebs Posted November 3, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2011 Hi Joyce this is not an answer to your question just some info that might be useful, we did an Alaskan cruise in September you can book all tours at the pier side when you disembark ship and they are cheaper than the ship to. debs
