flashdog_1 Posted July 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2011 I see a Touch of Asia in the Horizon Ct for dinner. Is this theme also in the main dining rooms? Thanks
bbwex Posted July 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2011 I would post this line-specific question on the Princess board to get a faster answer, especially since you are leaving in 2 days.

Rare 4cats4me Posted July 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2011 I see a Touch of Asia in the Horizon Ct for dinner. Is this theme also in the main dining rooms? Thanks On Princess when the buffet has "themed" food, the main dining room would not have the themed food as well. For example, on the Sapphire the HC would have a different buffet pool side, i.e., Asian or Mexican, but that theme would not carry over into the dining room. Now, I have seen main dining room offerings carried over into the Horizon Court on several occasions for dinner, but it might be a couple things off of the main dining room menu, not the whole menu. flashdog_1 Posted July 8, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted July 8, 2011 I'll never be able to talk DD into going to the buffet! So I'd better slip up there while she's getting ready, to see what they're offering!
rbnk Posted July 8, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 8, 2011 Where do you find information on what they are serving what night ahead of time? We are going on our first cruisetour on Tuesday, with Princess and I found the menus for the lodges, but I haven't come across anything for on the ship. Jasperdo Posted July 8, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 8, 2011 My wife and I ate in the Horizon Court buffet on Glacier Bay night. If I recall there were only a few Asian dishes. Most of the entrees were typical buffet spread items. We find that on Alaska cruises, the buffet is a good place for dinner. With so much spectacular scenery, I really don't want to be in the Dining Room for an hour and a half. The Horizon Court is usually empty enough that you can get a picture window table, and enjoy the scenery as you dine. Have a great cruise!
