On Anthem now, our current voyage ends December 16. Captain Felix Shrecko Ban told me the other day he is leaving on January 9 2017.

 

 

Captain Felix Shrecko Ban is now leaving on vacation January 6 and Captain HenriK Loft Sorensen will be returning on Anthem January 6 2017.

 

 

Any idea what the rotation time is for Anthem? Looks like Captain Ban joined on 10/1, hoping it's 3 months so that he's back on for our 4/17 sailing. Sailed with him on Quantum and would love to interview him again to hear about his time away from and returning to Bayonne.

 

He said he will be returning on Anthem sometime in March, so you will see him in April.

Wolfcathorse - just see a posting on Facebook showing Captain Hafez Aladin as being the captain on the Empress

 

he's only temporary. Him and another captain will be masters for the next 5 weeks then Capt Diego comes back. Capt Carl will have a 15 week vacation.

He said it was time for a change. Last fall he bought himself a fishing boat so I'm blaming it on a new "girlfriend" keeping him home. :D But seriously, he's considering a couple of employment options.

Always enjoyed sailing with him. Thanks, Captain Rune, for the good times we had. Especially the final Captain's Table on Monarch.
