Sherry and port as well as wine?

Hi

I know we can take wine and champagne aboard but are sherry and port allowed - these are fortified wines?

We took sherry onto the Noordam last year without any problems.

Fortified or not, they're still classed as wines.

We took sherry on last year in Cadiz (had no plans on drinking on the ship so we weren't worried). No problem whatsoever. They are wines so I would think it should be ok too:)
