Can anyone tell me where Renante went from the Mercury?

Hi,:) are you referring to Renante from the Phillipines? Oh, I love him:D

He was one of the best waiters I ever had (if we are talking about

the same person) His nicname was Tweety;) and it seems he stayed

on Mercury without ever going to another ship. I think he was my

waiter at least 3 times! Hope he is doing well, wherever he happens

to be:)

Yes Lois, same guy...we have had him as a waiter a few times and I saw his picture on one of your past posts. I am going to call Celebrity and see if they can track him down. I would be elated if he had gone to the Millennium as we are sailing on her this September. He is a great waiter!

renante from the philippines was our waiter on constellation this spring :-)

funny and always in good spirits :-)

i guess we'll always remember his trademark line "enjoy your lovely dinner" with the cute accent. *g* same line 14 nights in a row :-)

have to say though, that he was slightly outshined by his very bright, smart and equally friendly assistant yulija from kazhakstan. anytime something involved non-standards, efficiency and memorising, she was the sure bet ;-)

overall, we were really happy with our MDR experience! let's hope celebrity doesn't change anything for the worse...

Maybe he changed his line, for us a few years ago on the Mercury it was " enjoy you excellent dinnnnor". Just trying to capture his charming accent. He was wonderful! One of the best servers we've had.
