Here are most of the prices for the water stuff and others. Just got back, had a great time at Mr. Sanchos. Kids did the parasailing.

Our other famous tours:

.......

· Horseback Riding on the beach and in the jungle $30.00 for the 1/2 hour tour, horses are assigned according to weight and experience.

Given this pricing, it would appear that the following is a pretty good deal. Any thoughts? Anyone ever book with this outfit?

Does anyone know how much things cost on the not AI side?

How much for the lounge chair?

How much for the water toys?

Is there a cover if you don't do AI?

Thanks!

From what I've found no cover or charge for the lounge chairs, $12 for all day use of the water toys and hopefully this is the link to prices for food and drinks on the pay as you go side.

we went to mr. sanchos on Sat, sept 3 and our experience was nothing like described here. First we ordered lunch. two of us got ours within a reasonable time but the other two never got theirs. We kept asking and finally an hour and a half later just asked for whatever was available (they were very hungry). We were never waited on in our lounge chairs, not once! When we wanted a drink, we got up and went to the bar to get it ourselves. The beach was nice, the pool as well, but the service was awful and I am not hard to please.

Hi everyone,

We are booked to go to Mr.Sanchos in Oct. And I have already paid the deposit for the AI. My questions are more about the activities. My family of four would love to do the parasailing. It looks like 110.00 per 2. Anyone had experience with the parasailing and how long will it take for us to complete ? The reason I ask is because my daughter would also love to do the horseback riding. On this I read on one website that it would be 25.00 but another place listed it as 30.00 -also conflicting about whether it is 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Anyone done this ? And have correct info ? I have not paid for any activites up front or put down a deposit for them, should I expect to pay more in this case ?

Our ship is in port from 10-6 -are two activites going to end up leaving us tine to relax and enjoy the food and drink ? Anyone's view welcome ;)

Thanks so much :)

I booked thru Beach Tours and they charge:

Adult -$45

Teen - $30

Child - $20

It doesn't state on their website what's the age cut-off between child and teens though. My son is 11 and they charged me the child price for him. You pay a $5 deposit per person to reserve it, and pay the balance when you arrive at the beach club.

Not sure how much the taxi cost is, but I'm sure someone else can answer that.

Can you elaborate? What is beach tours? Do you have a link to the AI pricing? Thanks!

Beach Tours is the website that you book Mr. Sanchos all-inclusive package through. Mr. Sanchos uses Beach Tours or Cozumel Water Sports to book in advance. Their website is ********** dot com dot mx or you can google Beach Tours or Cozumel Water Sports to get the link.

Hope this helps! :)

Just back from Mr. Sancho's with a few notes to pass along: Choose Mr. Sancho's over Paradise because it was December and I new the pool water was going to be cold and not used. Did not count on the ocean being cool also, about 77-79 degrees, but can't do anything about that.

We only had a few hours to burn so the AI was not a viable option. We arrived around 1PM and were escorted to a plastic table with a normal beach umbrella right in front of the restaurant and right behind the beach loungers & water toys. Our experience was just neither bad nor good. Lessons learned.

1) They do not have Corona beer.

2) Ask to be seated to the far left of the restaurant if not doing AI. No water toys in front of you and nicer slice of beach with thatched canopies for shade. More spacing between the table and chairs.

3) There are some underwater statues just off the beach right in front of the restaurant. Not great snorkeling but entertaining for beginners but not worth renting any gear either.

4) If thinking about snorkeling buy some cheap gear on sale ($25-$35) in the states and take with you.

What mixed drinks can you order on the AI side? Is it a full bar? I saw the menu, can you order what you want on AI or is it limited? Has anyone added the horseback or ATV tours? I think my DD and her friend might want to stay busy...wondering how the tours were.

I can't comment on the tours, but you can order anything on the AI side that you would order on the pay-as-you-go side with the exception of lobster. For that you would have to pay extra which is understandable. They actually give the same menu to both AI and pay-as-you-go customers.

Looking at going to Mr. Sanchos in Feb. from our Carnival Conquest cruise. Not interested in doing the AI. Can anyone tell me how much do they charge just to go on the beach there. If we don't go the AI route, do we need to make reservations. Is the area at Mr. Sanchos like Paradise Beach. How crowded will Mr. S get. Really not interested in beach toys and kiddies.

We visited Mr Sanchos for the first time in June and it was heaven! Would definitely go back. We weren't sure if we wanted to do the all inclusive since we weren't arriving until 1pm. But, we decided to do the AI afterall once we got there and it was worth every penny. We aren't big drinkers, but we decided to live a little since we were there (and it was all you can drink). :D The drinks weren't very strong, but were tasty. Strong enough b/c like I said, we aren't big drinkers and really didn't want to be staggering around! The food was delicious! We ended up not eating on ship that night b/c we were so full. I guess the best part about AI to me was we never had to leave our lounger. They waited on us hand and foot. Servers were super friendly and funny.

I don't have much info on the pay as you go side, but I am sure it's just as relaxing. It was a little more crowded on that side. The beach is beautiful with soft sand and clear water. Kayaks and snorkeling gear are included in the AI price. Jet skis, banana boats and everything else was extra.

We had a wonderful day!

So you took a cab there and decided to go AI at the club house? I was wondering if we should book AI in advance but was concerned if the weather is not going to be sunny and then we don't get our money back. They only refund if it is bad weather - I am sure they won't see "overcast" as bad weather. What was the AI cost when you got there? Just wondering if it is any more than pre-booking.

Anyone know the prices of tropical drinks / beer? average lunch cost? I have seen the menu on line for Paradise Beach but not Mr. Sanchos. Just wondering if A.I is worth it if we only want to be there three - four hours and we are not big drinkers. Our ship arrives 8 am. but I think that is only 7a.m. island time and we probably wouldn't even go to beach until 10 a.m. or 11 a.m island time to enjoy the afternoon.

Hi All! We're planning to stop at Mr. Sancho's in March, on the all-inclusive side. I'm curious; I notice that there are palapas with regular chairs available on that side, but the lounge chairs are fully in the sun. Here's a pic of what I'm seeing in general:

Is it possible to have an umbrella placed next to the lounge chairs? I have a friend who I know would love to lounge on the beach under an umbrella, and not have to sit up under the palapa the whole time. If she lays in the sun too long, her skin reacts very badly. Thanks for any info!

Hello All! We had a wonderful time at Mr. Sanchos and look forward to going back really soon. I have photos of the property in my Liberty review. Start here, and scroll down halfway to start reading from there. I hope the review is helpful to someone :). Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

I can confirm that the beach umbrellas on the AI side are $10 to rent. Didn't think it was unreasonable.

I went (solo) to Nachi Cocom last year, and thought it was very nice, but not sure if it was worth the $50. This year there will be seven of us (including three children) so I've been looking for something a little less expensive. I've been going back and forth between Mr. Sanchos and Paradise Beach. You mention in your review that you would go to the Money Bar next time you're in Cozumel. We don't plan to snorkel (as far as I know). Just planning on a lazy day at the beach - sand, water, sun and fun. In your opinion, which resort would be the best fit. Thank you.

Hi luvcruizing! I really enjoyed Mr. Sanchos, and that will be my go-to from now on in Cozumel. We are actually returning in September. I haven't been to Paradise. Maybe trying the non-AI side of Sanchos would work for you?
