kalajori Posted August 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2011 Need advice asap. One cabin is two from the end facing forward from the hump, the other is three in from the end facing aft. This is a Transatlantic cruise, so many days at sea. Is our view forward blocked significantly by the middle cabins if we are facing aft? Is the aft cabin less windy? Pros and cons of each would be soooo helpful. Thanks. Joanmarie
cb at sea Posted August 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2011 Your view isn't "blocked" at all....true, behind the "hump" you may not see the bow of the ship, but that's unlikely with anything except a very far forward cabin...the ship does curve inward. From any hump cabin, you will have a full, outward view...no worries at all. As far as wind...as long as you aren't leaning over the railing, you'll be out of the main windstream. So, just pick the cabin you'd rather have....none of them are bad!!!!
