Seating Preferences

What does "Main and specialty restaurant seating preferences" mean? I am book in a C2 room and that is one the perks of Concierge Class.

Thanks

I hate to say this but it is sort of a phantom benefit. Don't know of anyone who has ever taken advantage of it. From reading various posts, if you ask on board they don't know about it.

Essentially, it means nothing. Marketing hype.

Theoretically, you can be placed on the waitlist if you don't get your preferred dining time in the main dining room. But so can everyone else. In practice, all this can be resolved by having a conversation with the maitre d' on board the ship.

As far as the specialty restaurants go, people aren't exactly beating their doors down, especially not at $40/person. They'll be happy to take anyone's money.

I would never book a CC room on any of the Solstice class ships unless I got a real good deal. Most of the CC benefits are either non exsistent (advertising hype) or highly overated. I would book a CC room on the M class ships or Century because the rooms and verandas are bigger which they are not on the Solstice ships.
