Can this be used for a carry on??

Can I use this to carry my drinks as a carry on? I sail this weekend and can't wait. Oh, yeah...it is colasable so if needed I can break it down through security.

I have thought of this as well, and can't see any reason why it would not be acceptable.

Frankly I believe it is a faster, quicker and more easily dealt with than many other methods.

Im looking and not sure it will fit thru xray or not.. hard to tell by looking. If it does they will allow it. I have seen similar.

Firefly... your'e right... my response was taking into account that she said it was collapsable, so if it did not fit in the xray machine, she would have to take the soda out and run them through separately.

Cuz, yeah... I don't know if it will fit either! ;)

Yes, we used a collapsible cart that was actually bigger than that with no problem as long as it can go through the x-ray machine. have also used a luggage cart

Awesome!! Just the answers I was looking for. If it doesn't fit through the xray machine, I don't have a problem taking the soda's out and breaking the cart down. Wouldn't be a problem at all. Yay!! 2 days left!!

Looks like it should work.

 

We have a collapsible hand truck I found at Walmart for under $20.

 

I leave my 6 or 8 packs of soda shrink wrapped and in the cardboard case.

Then I tape them into the case.

 

When I get to the scanner, I put each case on the conveyor, fold the hand truck flat and send it through.

Then I reassemble everything on the other side in seconds.

Security always seems to appreciate it. ( they do not seem to appreciate loose cases of soda being sent through and people fumbling trying to move them through security.)
