Yep, our week on the Miracle is all over. Came home a couple hours ago. I plan on writing a bit of a review complete with pictures of the islands and of course the MENUS!!!

So, two questions for you then,

 

1. Were they the "new" menus (you being just back may not have had time to read all the hoopla but there are now new menus being released for Carnival cruises)? I really hope the answer is "Yes" to this one.

 

2. Is there a rotisserie in the buffet area? It says there is on some deck plans but it seems that everyone I've asked so far doesn't know what I'm talking about.

Don't think you saw any changes to the menus since John Heald wrote that they would be changing at the end of the month on most ships.

But I am anxious to hear about the shows/activities/entertainment. And also the embarkement/disembarkement process in NY. Thanks.

We got to the port a little early (10:30 or so) and I'm pretty sure we were onboard for noon time (I'd have to check my notes) For disembarking we had decided to NOT do the self assist (taking off your own luggage) and we had #2. We were called off the ship around 9:30 and in our car at 10:05.

Ya know, I did read that somewhere on the ship but we couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe it's something new that's coming with the dry dock?

I'm hoping to get all the pics uploaded to photobucket tomorrow and writing the review in microsoft word or something so I don't lose it if I lose power or something. ;) I'll be starting a new thread with the review so I'll let ya know on here to go take a peek when it's ready.
