Any place to store luggage in Piraeus?

In mid-October, we will arrive in Piraeus from one cruise and 3 days later depart from Piraeus on another cruise. Does anyone know if there is a place to check luggage so that we could travel into Athens relatively unencumbered?

In the port terminal itself there are large storage lockers easily accessible, easily operated, and relatively inexpensive. One locker stored our two large suitcases for 3 days in between cruises. You need 1 & 2 euro coins.

 

Also, according to 2 guide books - one being Rick Steves' - there is baggage storage available at the Pireaus metro station, but that is a fair distance from the port.
