RCCL Visa - Get now or get on the ship

Are there any additional benefits to applying for an RCCL Visa on the ship versus getting it off the website?

No added benefits for getting one while onboard.

Get it now and use it to pay off the cruise--you get double points for anything you charge to Royal Caribbean. The points are good for 5 years. We pay everything possible with the card and keep it paid off every month. Our upcoming Allure cruise is possible due to using points for the 7 nt. cruise. Already halfway to another 7 nighter!

Not sure when your cruising but I agree with the PP. I would get it before the cruise and use it and try and earn some OBC with it for your cruise.
