Zip Line

Will be going to Belize and Costa Rica in the near future. DW was asking for opinions on zip lining in those countries. All recommendations and opinions are most welcomed.

April last year we did the zipline tour in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica. The company was Jungle Breeze and they were wonderful! 11 platforms, and you never had to get down and climb back up. It was all platform to platform through the jungle. Very safe and easy-to-use equipment. We'd do it again in a heartbeat! (and we're in our 60's)

Check the ports of call board for each port.

Also understand the difference between ziplining & canopy adventure. One is sitting & sliding, the other is an obstancle endurance course in the tree tops with a few zip lines.

I have been on different two ziplnes in Costa Rica in the past year.

 

Both were fun, exciting, professionally run and IMHO, safe operations.

A friend of mine went ziplining in Costa Rica, though I cannot recall the company name. He said there were 13 platforms and he had the time of his life.

 

We are supposed to go to the Jaguar Rescue center there, but I may rethink that and go ziplining. Sounds like fun!
