from ship to hell

Can you walk from where the tender drops you off the ship to Hell in the Grand Cayman Islands and how far is it.

Noooo, not sure how far away it is but I remember it was way beyond walking distance. We saw hell as part of a tour that also took us past 7 mile beach & to the turtle farm.

Sure you can. But don't expect to make it back, or even get there, by the time the last tender leaves. ;)

You will need to take a taxi if you want to see Hell.

FWIW: To me Hell was very underwhelming.

Take care,

Mike

We rented a jeep in Grand Caymen. Had our two kids, 9 and 15 years, with us. We drove to Hell, and the turtle farm. We explored the beaches on our own. It was just wonderful. Hell wasn't a big deal, but enjoyable , and we all loved the turtle farm.

We're returning to GC this winter, but I think we'll skip Hell this time.

Yeah, it was a fun quick stop asset of a tour but that's about it.

BTW OP, I like your thread title!

I wouldnt waste your money to pay a taxi just to take you to hell. You will be bored in 5 mins or less. Its about a 10 min cab ride from the cruise ship terminal....WAY to far and to dangerous to even attempt to walk (most streets lack sidewalks). Contact Capt Marvins and do a combo tour that includes a stop at Hell...this would be your best bargain without a doubt. And even on the tour they give you 15 mins in Hell and they leave...and you will be ready to go before they are ready to take you.
