Castaway Ship Wreck Cove Sail and Snorkel - ST72

Has anyone done this tour? We are considering it. It goes to Buck Island for snorkeling. Can you tell us more about this tour? :)

Any info on Buck Island snorkeling?

We did this tour in St. Thomas on Castaway Girl. The sail out to the site was very pleasant, but the snorkeling was not great. They will take you out in groups and show you a few sea creatures, but we did not see lots of fish or any turtles at all.

 

The ride back was pleasant as well, and the rum punch was good, but they made everyone go below deck for a 'sales presentation' of t-shirts, which annoyed me. They made it sound mandatory for everyone to get downstairs so nearly everyone went.

 

Overall it is an ok tour for the price but if you want to snorkel I'd go to Sapphire Beach instead (or book something with a private day sail company).
