ChefSusan Posted September 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2011 The easiest way to get a table for 2 in the MDR is to select Your Time Dining when booking your cruise. If that option is not available, then you have two choices: 1. Meet with the Maitre D' at 1pm during embarkation at the assigned dining room (the exact location will be listed in the Embarkation Edition of the Fun Times, which you can pick up anywhere on the ship) or 2. Send John Heald a note via his blog or Facebook page, and kindly ask that he help you out with this. Best of luck to you!
marshhawk Posted September 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2011 Susan pretty much answered the question-we dine for two only at breakfast, but we are ok with people once we get the caffeine level up.:D
hermhogwarts55 Posted September 4, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2011 You can also call Carnival and request a table for 2... usually it happens.... but if not then talk to the maitre'd when you board
AWCHIEF Posted September 4, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2011 Please don't waste John's time with such a request. Do it properly like most everyone else does by asking the MD once you get on board. If it is possible they will be happy to assist you.

Kudos2Fly Posted September 4, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 4, 2011 When ever I book with my PVP, he puts in a "requested" for a table for two, of course depending on the ship. But if we really want to have a table for two and it available on the ship I just ask the maitre'd when we board and it has never been a problem. jaylinks Posted September 4, 2011 #10 Share Posted September 4, 2011 Usually you go to the MDR as soon as you board and ask the the maitre d' but I'm thinking there might be another way so I just posted a thread asking the same question.
