Mrs.C05 Posted September 7, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2011 I have been on the Monarch of the Seas before (twice in 2010) and they had the Honey Stung Chicken which was so delicious! I was wondering if they were still serving it or not, as I'm leaving for our cruise on Friday. It's okay if not, but I would really love to have some of this!!! And no, I don't want to go buy it at the store (because I normally eat healthy at home) and a cruise is perfect example to eat whatever I want, lol!! Anyone been on Monarch recently to tell me if they have it or not?
CruisinDawn Posted September 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Yes and if I am not mistaken it is on the roomservice menu now as well. Gotta admit is was one of my favorites years ago but it has lost it's stung to me. :D BonVoyage Dawna
yogimax Posted September 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2011 The honey stung chicken is pretty much a first day lunch staple on all RCCL ships.

bouhunter Posted September 7, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Hm...sounds interesting. :D Can someone describe it for me? Generally very boring, sometimes dry and tough pieces of chicken:D
yogimax Posted September 7, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Generally very boring, sometimes dry and tough pieces of chicken:D True, but also sometimes moist and perfectly cooked! It all depends... I'd say that 70% of the time it is excellent.
kc320 Posted September 7, 2011 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2011 They had it 2 weeks ago...but it was more of a pre-formed breaded patty than what I remembered...
