Comp Question

You have to have been rated on a previous cruise. (Depending on how much you play on the machines or how much the bit posses rate your play at the tables) Then before your cruise you have to call the Carnival Players Club and let them know you are sailing again (have your booking number handy) and ask them how you were rated last cruise. If you qualify they will give you the cage comp and/or a welcome back gift for your cabin. You can also get a coupon for a free picture from the photo desk.

I have seen the cage comp in two ways... match play tokens (typical for small comp amounts) and then just plain cash from the cage. Obviously I prefer the cash as then you can play it how ever you want versus having to play it on a even money table game bet.

$75 dollar cage comp .Did this come with a cruise offer in the mail? You have to book first and use the code they provide for a discount on the cruise

I cruised on the Dream last February and I spent a considerable amount of time in the casino. I even managed to get the free drink card on the final day. :p

I read on one of the threads that Carnival gave out some perks if you played on a previous cruise. I was just hoping to get a fruit basket or a bottle of wine as many people said they got. So I gave them a call and gave them my booking number. To my surprise, they gave me $75 cage comp. You never know till you try.

For the mailings where they send you a casino VIP marketing piece and a voucher, you don't have to book a cruise. You can use the voucher on any existing cruise you have booked, as long as it's before the voucher expires. ;)

If you're booked Early Saver, you can also ask for a rate reduction on already booked cruises if the casino rate is offered on that cruise. The only way to know is to call your PVP or the phone number on the promotional piece.

(KINDA LIKE THE PHONE COMPANYS HAVING CHEAPER RATES BUT IF YOU DONT ASK FOR THEM THEY KEEP YOU ON THE HIGHER ONES)

Then after reading on here About People making calls and getting Cash OBC, WE call Now Everytime...This time were leaving on the Golden Princess on Nov 9th for Hawaii....I called and they said I get $250 Cash and DW gets $150.00....That'll Pay for 4 of my Buy Ins for the Poker Tournaments.....:D
