Conquest or NCL Sprit - Cant Decide

Looking to book my first cruise with the kids. Two girls 7 and 9. I know they will love the bunks on the quad on Conquest, but strongly considering the NCL Spirit. Can anyone help me decide? Thanks.

Id vote for conquest .. wait, I booked conquest .. so I guess thats a vote.

I'm am also booked on the Conquest but I must tell you my 3 granddaughters all under the age of 11 had a great time at the aft Buccaneer Pool on the Spirit. The Spirit Crew is top notch! Happy Happy Washy Washy.:D

We've sailed the NCL Spirit twice, my son was 9 the 1st time and loved the Kids Crew. The next cruise he was 10 and was able to sign himself in and out of the kids area which gave him a little more freedom. The kids crew were great. He loved going there every day. Games, scavenger hunts, comedy night, talent show, swim party, pj's & movie night.....

 

We are sailing on the Conquest this coming Feb and our son is 12 yrs old now. We have a large group going with us with 6 kids ranging from 9-13.

 

We've only heard great reviews about the Conquest from friends & family.

 

I'm sure whichever ship you choose you and your children will have a blast.

I've sailed on both ships. The Spirit is very pretty but not as large as the Conquest. The piano bar on the Spirit is in the atrium area, not a seperate room, the other bar area was behind the casino a bit out of the way but nice once you find it. I did like the theater seating on the Spirit better than the bench seating on Conquest.

 

We didn't like the Freestyle dining, didn't think the food was as good but that was a few years ago and it may have improved. We would not do another NCL cruise.

 

The Conquest was our first cruise and we loved it. The second time we sailed her we had our grandchildren with us and they loved the kids program, I think they were in the middle age group. Don't know about the NCL kids program.

I have been on the conquest and Spirit. I would prefer Carnival Conquest. Its more like family .Better atmoshere in my opinion.
