Triumph Dry Dock

I understand the Triumph is slated for dry dock before it starts operating out of Galveston. Does anyone know what improvements they will be making in dry dock?

There's a thread somewhere on this I saw yesterday. Sounded like confirmed upgrades are pretty minimal, new tile, updated night club, cosmetic stuff.

 

I'm still hoping for a Mongolian Grill & Serenity Area though. Fingers crossed ;)

I looked at the deck plans yesterday on Carnival and still saw the Hong Kong Noodle Company (or something like that). I loved the Mongolian Wok on the Sensation and wish they would add that! :)

YES! It was on the lido deck next opposite the burger station. It had very limited hours, I want to say 11-3 most days.

What's the difference between what they serve in the Mongolian vs Hong Kong Noodle? I know what the Mongolian Stir Fry serves. Does Hong Kong Noodle serve general Chinese food?

I will be on her 12/1. I have heard that they are adding the Serenity Deck but I don't think that has been confirmed. Im very excited to hear about the updates!!!

Yes, it's general Chinese food. They usually have plain lo mein noodles, a beef or chicken dish, fish dish, etc. Usually about 7 things on the menu, some items change daily however.

In March, there was a small one on a cart right beside the casino bar. Not sure of the times.

Yes, it was outside of the casino as a previous poster stated; and open 3 out of the 5 evenings we were on the ship.

It was my favorite place to eat! My only complaint was the hours, there were some evenings I'd have rather had that over the MDR or buffet. Lines were hit or miss, best times were embarkation day (before people discovered it) and port days when the ship was empty.

 

Triumph's Asian Corner still has good stuff, I just love the mix and match, build your own factor of the Mongolian. Plus it's SPICIER! I'm all about that :D

Chinese noodle bar one one side- deli on the other...They were saying no big over-haul just mostly cosmetic.........Dennis
