Oscar Brown Never Showed!

Did the 3/19 cruise on the Legend. Based on these boards, we had booked Oscar Brown's Tour #1. Really looked forward to it. Nobody ever showed up. We ended up grabbing one of the tours sold just off the pier and had a good time. I have no idea what happened but we did not let it stop us from enjoying CR. Just be flexible and have a back up plan.

We did a tour through Carnival.. While we were walking to ours a gentleman with Dreadlocks asked us if we were looking for "Oscar B" I only knew who it meant because of reading on here...

Glad that we did not book with him...

marjmy, we went on the Green Train for a 30-45 minute ride through town and the countryside. Left the train and boarded buses for a short ride to excursion boats for the canal trip. Where we boarded the boats, we had a short break at a bar which served us fruit. Toured the canals for 1 1/2 hours. Got back on the buses and went to Del Monte banana plantation and processing plant. Back on the buses and back to the ship.

Enjoined the tour but it was hot and muggy!! The buses were very comfortable (A/C) but train was not (no A/C, small windows and train did not go fast to generate a breeze and stopped often).
