steeners81 Posted September 30, 2011 Author #126 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Orange Sherbet Our second banana crème pie (the waiter brought this out when he realized that the orginal piece looked a little sloppy. Didn’t really think it was necessary) Dinner was great the only thing I did not care for was the seafood laska. I am not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t that. After dinner we headed to the headliner show. This week it was Abbacadabra. They were great. I love Abba which is probably one of the reasons I loved it. After the show we headed to get changed and went to the battle of the sexes in Dazzles. On the way we managed to get a pic with some more dreamworks characters. Also there was a woman onboard doing balloon animals, hats, etc and I saw this guy walking with one I had to get a pic of
steeners81 Posted September 30, 2011 Author #127 Share Posted September 30, 2011 After this we decided to watch a bit of the fountain show before the battle of the sexes So we got to Battle of the sexes and Cody wanted to play but I have learned my lesson so now I just sit back, relax, take pictures, and laugh…a lot. I not going to spoil what the challenges were but it was fun and the woman won. Yeah we rule! We headed back to the cabin after this. For some reason tonight I got my diamond pin. This is my third cruise as diamond I would have thought I would have gotten before this but oh well. Oh if anyone is wondering how I am diamond my parents are cruise addicts so I was grandfathered in when I am was younger but I will be elite on Celebrity soon so then I will be a legit diamond member. steeners81 Posted September 30, 2011 Author #130 Share Posted September 30, 2011 King Julien and Gloria After this we headed to trivia..yup lost again. Then off to Bingo. We were told at the bingo session the day before that if you wore your PJ’s they would judge and the best PJ’s would get a free electronic board. Yeah I would not walk with him to bingo. So he won and got a free electronic machine and paper cards. And he won at bingo on them. Unbelievable After Bingo we headed to the Park café again ( I love those salads). I did make him change before we headed up there though We then took our food down to watch the mens belly flop competition King Julien was a judge and he wasn’t impressed The skinny kid won by doing the flying squirrel it hurt just watching it
steeners81 Posted September 30, 2011 Author #131 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Off to the cabin to get changed quickly to our formal clothes so we could go to the Dreamworks move move it parade. Ok a tip to the diamond members. The diamond lounge is an excellent place to watch the parades from. There was only a few other people up there and we were able to get right up to the railing and take pictures. Toothless! steeners81 Posted September 30, 2011 Author #135 Share Posted September 30, 2011 We then decided to go on the rising tide bar. It was fun and the drinks were strong on there. So after that we rushed and got changed for the 70’s party in the promenade and got a spot right by the stage. The 70’s party was fun but I prefer it on the smaller ships were it was more interactive Then it was off to bed. Towel animal of the day

MPowder Posted September 30, 2011 #138 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Thank you for taking time and effort to the review together, I am catching it up everyday after work. BTW, how does their photo taking system work? Do they do like Disney so the photographer took the picture from their camera then scan it to your seapass, at the end of the trip you bring your seapass to photo center, view your pics and choose? Do they have online site so you can choose pics to develop after you go home? (haha... I am just relating that to Disney photopass as this is first time with RCCL and my last cruise was few years back with other cruiseline) Also, would the photographer help shooting pics with your own camera beside their own ones? (I am relating to Disney again.. :) ) Thanks again! Have fun on your short trip.

(I am relating to Disney again.. :) ) Thanks again! Have fun on your short trip. They use a facial recolonization software so all your pictures are grouped together. They then put all your folders in a binder in the photo place and they are also on the computers in the photo place you just scan your card to see them. Sometimes they will ask for your seapass card when they take your photo. The photographer will not take pictures with your camera, the only time I saw that they will take pics with your camera is when you get pics with the dream works characters and thats not a photographer but the crewmember who comes out with the character. You can not view them after you leave the ship.

jennat Posted September 30, 2011 #147 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Great review....really loving it. Could you explain what you meant by buying the big picture package (or something like that). Do they sell a disc or all your pictures for one price? How do they judge that (for instance if I am buying them of me, do I have to be in all of them? So if my husband is in one alone, that wouldn't work?) Thanks

steeners81 Posted September 30, 2011 Author #149 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Great review....really loving it.Could you explain what you meant by buying the big picture package (or something like that). Do they sell a disc or all your pictures for one price? How do they judge that (for instance if I am buying them of me, do I have to be in all of them? So if my husband is in one alone, that wouldn't work?) Thanks The package we purchased was all of our pictures on one CD. It is supposed to be just the people in the cabin. So if you and your husband are in the same cabin you will have all your pictures on the same account. For some reason after we started getting group shots with Codys family all of their pictures started showing up on our account also. So if you are going with a group thats in more then one cabin you can try doing that and you may be able to get all your photos on one disk. After you buy the package with all of your photos on a disk they then offer packages for your prints. I think you could get all of your prints for 200$ so that would be a total of $499 for all of your pics on a CD and the prints. We chose to just get the disk and print them out when we got home. Lol the matching outfits are totally not my idea, thats all Cody. I get the phone call a few weeks before vacations " What color dresses are you wearing" and he takes it from there.
