KirkNC Posted September 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2011 We stayed across the street at Hotel Inglaterra and ate breakfast on the corner at a little café (can't remember the name) that had some good little breakfast sandwiches. Our favorite for dinner was Cerveceria Catalana, the tapas were awesome. There is a little grocery store a half block down the street that runs between the café and Hotel Inglaterra that is good for some wine or other essentials. baggal Posted September 30, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2011 If you need it, there's Starbucks a block away. For restaurant recommendations, ask at the front desk.
LittleMissS Posted October 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2011 There's also a subway (food) near Starbucks. Jazz is only a few blocks from Las Ramblas. There are a few restaurants there as well as a grocery store.
Archie's Mom Posted October 2, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 2, 2011 We were at Hotel Jazz in Nov. 2010 and thought the breakfast in the hotel was great. There is a little soda/sandwich/ wine bar literally next door where we bought 6 bottles of wine before we departed to the pier. It was very good Spanish wine. Pushkin Posted October 6, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 6, 2011 We stayed at Hotel Jazz a few weeks ago. We ate dinner in a small restaurant called "Olives" or "Olivia" - something like that. It was a few blocks from hotel. It was rated well and was not very expensive. I'm sure the hotel could give you directions. Barcelona is wonderful - have fun! tahoemw Posted October 6, 2011 #7 Share Posted October 6, 2011 I had breakfast at the hotel; but Starbucks was down the street, but wasn't open when I looked; there is also a little coffee shop on the other side of the street too; there is also a wine bar next to the hotel, it has pizza, sandwiches and wine which was good. swcruise Posted October 13, 2011 #9 Share Posted October 13, 2011 Hi there, For breakfast you can also dine in the market of the Ramblas, it is a very unique experience and also there is Cafe Zurich just further along the street from Starbucks. We had some great dinners in Tellar de Tapas, hope this helps..
