just wondering if there is any way to know if there is a large group for a particular sailing. I am booked for 10.7.2012 on FOS and there are only 2 cat F OV available on the sailing...I am wanting a balcony/ov combo and the ov are booked on all 3 of the connectings but neither of the 3 balconies are booked...just wondering if there is a large group onboard since all the cat Fs are booked except 2 so far in advance.

Do a google search for your ship and sail date and see if anything comes up.

Thanks for the tip. I tried this and nothing is showing. I do know it is Canadian Thanksgiving, but due to our past cruises during the same week, this SHOULDN'T have such a large impact on booking already.

Have you CALLED RCI to see if they're really sold? Online doesn't always show what's truly available.

FOV's do go quickly!

I did call RCL and they said the ov's were in fact booked. We are currently in a FOV 8200 so I am happy for that, but was looking at a regular OV (cat f, not family) connecting to a balcony when I noticed only 2 of the cat Fs were available on the entire ship . Maybe I will try RCL again and see if any of those have opened up and just not released yet..

I've noted the the online booking will suggest a cabin and then show only 15 alternative options - even if there are more really available.

Other travel booking sites (not in favor with CC so tend to get blocked here) have booking options that will show deck plans and which cabins are available. I've used the one with a name similar to travel city ;) to see exactly which ones.
