Nassau with 5 ships in port

That's a lot of ships in port! There were 3 the day I was there and we had no trouble getting around. Your late arrival may help with that, some ships leave at 4 so their passengers will be heading back while you are on your way out.

Most people go to Paradise Island in Nassau for some beach time. My husband and I got off the ship and took a ferry ($6pp round trip) over to Paradise Island and walked to a local beach. We returned to Nassau and had lunch at Senor Frogs .. the food was great but it was really pricey.

If seeing Atlantis is on your "to do" list- cruisers can take the water taxi or a van taxi to Atlantis- walk around the marina area and the lobby and casino and then go back to the pier. From the pier, you can walk to the British Colonial Hilton for tea and then shop in the area.

if you don't have Atlantis as a destination, you might consider a historic tour of Nassau and a trip to Ardastra Gardens & Zoo.

We've done these activities with 4 or 5 ships in port.
