Help, I'm so confused

Our main concern is if we would have to cancel because of parents getting sick (up in age). What would be the best way to go? I've looked over at insuremytrip.com but still I'm confused.

Have you called InsureMyTrip on the phone can talked to them? That is what I would do.

Almost every plan (can't think of any that won't) will cover you if you have to cancel or cut short your trip because of a medical emergency with a non-traveling family member (I'm assuming they're not sailing with you). Just be sure to buy your policy in the time frame needed to get covered for pre-existing medical conditions as most (but not all) of the plans also apply the pre-existing condition exclusion to non-traveling family members also.

Then read the details.

 

Then if need be speak with the insurance company and be sure that what they tell you is also in writing.
