Genoa (Genova) Flood

Those with port calls in Genoa in the near future might want to think about alternatives, as the bad weather in Italy continues. The entire Ligurian coast, including the already slammed Cinque Terre, is bracing for another storm this weekend.

Costa passengers use Genoa to transfer between Savona (its major port of operation). Must create some logistic issue there.

The port and most of the motorways are not involved. MSC Magnifica started as scheduled without any problems from Genova. I heard this from a passenger, who is cruising now.

Anyway it is awful, what happens/happened there.

I hope this is the end of the storms. I will be in Savona in 10 days. Scary.
