San Diego pre- and post- hotel, with parking

My parents are driving over from Arizona to catch the Oosterdam after Thanksgiving. As they'll have an eight hour drive, they'll drive over the night before the cruise, then plan to spend the night they get back before driving home (maybe a day visit to Old Town, etc).

 

Any suggestions of a reasonably priced hotel, with secure parking, that will drop them at the cruise terminal and pick them up?

A good hotel literally across the street from the pier is the Holiday Inn on the Bay in San Diego. I have stayed here a couple of times for work conferences but it is the hotel that looks out at the cruise piers. I just checked their website and they do have a park and cruise package.
