Shopping in Miami

:D Will have just 3 days to shop,before flight leaves from Miami.

Could some kind shoppers recommend which district to stay in ( will not be driving) to get the most shopping fun !

Bal Harbor in Miami Beach-chic, elegant, boutiques..great place to people watch too

 

Aventura Mall in Aventura-fabulous mall

 

Aventura and Bal Harbor would easy to catch a bus or cab to.

 

Not in Miami, but Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise..about half an hour from Miami headed west..gargantuan outlet mall..but you'd need a car

I'd second Sawgrass Mills - huge outlet mall, lots of shops. We were there in March and I spent a lot of $$ :)

What a fun thread! We'll be in Miami 3 days pre-cruise as well and we're staying at the Hampton Inn near Dadeland Mall. There is an airport shuttle taking you to the hotel and you can visit the Mall and the other outlet stores in the neighbourhood (all within short distance).

We'll have a car, though and will visit South Beach etc.

Post-cruise we're also staying a couple of days near the airport and plan to go to Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise.

IMHO Aventura Mall is the best mall so you would need to stay in the North Miami Beach area for accessibility. Bal Harbour Shoppes are lovely but most consist of Chanel, Fendi, Neiman Marcus, and many expensive boutique type stores. Bvlgari is also there.....Hope this helps;)

 

Sawgrass is just okay and rather large and for the masses if you know what I mean.
