Which dining room is open for lunch on embarkation day on the Island?

We will be boarding the Island soon (yippee!) and would like to eat lunch in the dining room to avoid the buffet chaos on the first day. Could someone let me know which room will be open?

Just wondered when you would be cruising. We are also on the Island on Dec. 9th.

I believe it is the Bordeaux dining room. I think the Provence dining room is used primarily for dinner.

Our cabin was on the Plaza Deck for our cruise last December on the Island. It was very convenient to go to the Bordeaux dining room for breakfast and lunch. We had traditional dining for dinner, which was in the Provence dining room one deck up--still very convenient. Our waiter, Tippy, was one of the ones in charge of the dining room for breakfast and lunch--greeting passengers and telling the waiter which table to take them to. She was great.
