room categories

im confused~ i have a 6B ov room. its midship, riviera. they still have rooms available, they are ov, aft, on a higher level. would these be a different category? does this mean that since all midship ov on riviera are booked i might as well stop watching for price drops???

You really need to check the deck plans. The 6B cabins in the middle of Riviera deck are the same as the 6B cabins on the aft of the deck above. You have to see where the cutoff is for the 6C cabins. If you know that the available cabins are also 6B then you still watch for price drops. I would keep watching anyway up until 2 days prior to sailing because cabin categories can open up because people get upgraded or cancel which could mean a cabin in your category becomes available. It happens all the time and more so close to sailing. Good luck!

You just check 6Bs, and if there are any, no matter which location/deck, you can price compare to them. Just has to be the same category.
