Dreamer333 Posted April 7, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2005 Maybe the red circles mean that the poster is really mad while he/she is typing!

Sandy R Posted April 7, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2005 Well, Alice, it doesn't look like the answers are pouring in. Maybe the red is just for the poster to see. For instance, when I'm online, I always see my circle as red. Does anyone else see my circle as red when I'm online or do they see it as green? Maybe I'll never see my circle as anything but red, because I can only see my circle when I'm online... with me so far? I wish one of the keepers of the board would read this and give us the answer. Plus, I've never seen black circles, only green, red and silver. Sandy
suziehmkr Posted April 7, 2005 #6 Share Posted April 7, 2005 Hold your cursor over the dot and a little bubble will explain. Green Dots are online, no color is offline. I haven't seen red, so I can't hover to see what it is! :)
Globaliser Posted April 7, 2005 #7 Share Posted April 7, 2005 What does the color dot beside everyone's name mean? Some are red, others are green and some are black????? Green: The member is currently online and happy for everyone else to see it. Grey: The member is either offline, or doesn't want everyone else to know when they're online. Red: You're online but you have chosen not to reveal that to others. Whether you want to be visible or invisible is an option that you can set. Dreamer333 Posted April 8, 2005 #12 Share Posted April 8, 2005 So if someone shows up as red, then don't we all know that he/she is online, but doesn't want us to know?? Or does it just show up red to that particular person?? (Glad you're not mad, Alice!!)
