TourDeCruise Posted October 6, 2013 #27 Share Posted October 6, 2013 Does anyone know if there is a bike rental place close to the port in St. Bart's? Any recommended restaurants with French food, seafood, and/or good Caribbean-French fusion food? We are on the February 15th Celebrity Century cruise with Lois and lots of Cruise Critic company. But it will be fun looking at the list and planning or imagining being there. Did you see any restaurants that stood out to you? Kathy
tartanexile81 Posted October 22, 2013 #32 Share Posted October 22, 2013 None of major cruise lines call at St Barts. We're sailing from the UK on a British ship in February and St Bart's is one of our ports of call. She weighs 77 000 tonnes and has the capacity for up to 2270 passengers. The line is P&O, part of the Carnival group and one of the major cruise lines in the UK.

TourDeCruise Posted October 22, 2013 #35 Share Posted October 22, 2013 (edited) Lois, I agree. Expensive but good. Jack said we'll eat at Bistro on Five. Yeah, right. I doubt the Century renovations will add Bistro on Five. I'm posting the links again. Le Carré Lounge looked pretty good - not as expensive and with some good options. From the pictures, it looks like an attractive place. In addition to the Lunch menu, look at the Gourmet menu. I'm not all the way through looking at the restaurants yet. Kathy Edited October 23, 2013 by TourDeCruise Gourmet menu
CaroleSP Posted January 31, 2014 #38 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I'm with you on the Century; thanks for the links. I was glad to get a peek at the 2 beaches that have been recommended on the threads.
