Are the same name/type slot machines on all of Carnivals ships?? If so what are the best paying and most fun to play?

thanks

For the most fun it has got to be "Denver Duck". What a game. My son and his GF won $600+ on that game and had a ball.

What ship were you sailing when your son played "Denver Duck"? I looked on line and it looks like a very fun game. Is it on Carnival ships?

Thanks

Is it a slot game I'm going on the Splendor in March. I heard that if you go to the casino at the beginning of the cruise it's when the slots are the loosest.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO challinga: That is not true. A slot machine can hit at anytime. And the odds of hitting can't be changed without sending it back to the factory.

Slot players always have these strange ideas about, what is simply a machine. The payback percentage of a slot is governed by the internal chips and the design of the various wheels. These factors determine the odds which are always (and I mean always) in the casinos favor. Unlike on land where there are usually casino commissions, laws and regulations regarding paybacks, etc. there are no real controls over a shipboard casino. This means they can have their slots (and other machines) set for lousy payouts (most would say this is the norm on ships). So a machine that might payback 92% in Vegas could be designed to only payback 80% on a ship (just an example). The odds of hitting on any pull are always the same (most slot players do not want to believe this simple fact). Bottom line is that slots (and most machines) have the worst odds of any game in a casino (except for Keno). If you want good odds you need to play Blackjack or Craps where the odds are much much better (for those that know what they are doing).

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO leedm: Play whichever game you think you will have fun at. After all, you are on a cruise to enjoy yourself. To have better odds of winning something then play video poker. The table games give you the best shot of walking away with house money, but, as in all gambling the House has the edge.

Thank you, but I did recall a segment on the news on traveling on a cruise with a travel expert. But I was wondering if anybody else heard this. I been on quite a many cruises just never played in the casino on them walked around to take a look quickly, but was thinking of trying it this time.
