There's a guy in Germany that's been posting pictures on the DIS boards. I have every confidence that we will post pictures of the float out. PLus there are a couple of groups planning on getting together to greet the ship in NY.

Try this link. http://www.meyerwerft.de/index_e.html Its a live webcam that should carry the float out live. I remember the Dream was lie on a webcam, and I think that this is the link for it. At the moment the camera is pointing at the dock behind the covered bldg, that the Fantasy is in.

The Fantasy float out has been changed. It is now Jan 8th 1pm MW time. Not sure on the reason of the delay, though someone posted on a different board that there has been severe weather in the area, and that may have had an affect.

Ive also seen that it could be as early as 11 am their time. I thougt MW was 6 hours ahead of us?

Greetings from Germany,

I just came back from Papenburg and the float out of the Disney Fantasy - what a great ship. Once again the yard has done a great job and the ship looks nice and huge (it's 340 meters long - whew!).
