pakarinen Posted January 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2012 Anybody know the approx. depths of the pools on the Crown? Are any 6 feet or deeper? I assume no diving allowed regardless of depth. Thanks!
littlesteelo Posted January 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2012 Anybody know the approx. depths of the pools on the Crown? Are any 6 feet or deeper? I assume no diving allowed regardless of depth. Thanks! Whilst I haven't been on Crown, I have been on Ventura, which is pretty much identical in layout, and the two main pools were between 5 and 7 feet deep, they sloped down. The terrace pool is around 5.5 ft, and the spa pool at the front is the shallowest at 3 to 6 ft. The grand class have surprisingly deep pools. cruzinchris Posted January 2, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2012 Lotus Spa pool is shallow around the perimeter and about 4.5' in the center "swim-against-the-current" lane. Steps down into pool. Aft Terrace Pool ranges from 5' to 5.5' or a little deeper depending on how full it is. Steps down into pool. Neptune and Calypso pools are probably 6' or 7' depending on how full they are. Both have ladder access. Spa and terrace pools are supposed to be adults only. If there are children/teens onboard, they'll usually be in the large Lido pools. Bon Voyage! cb at sea Posted January 2, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2012 No diving on any ship that I've seen, unless you're a performer on Oasis (RCI) class ships!
