Sky Suite one

It appears to me on the deck plan that the cabins are larger on the continental deck for S1 than the Vista, but the balcony may be larger on the vista deck for solstice class ships. Is this true? Would you rather have an S1 on a higher deck than continental? Would service or space be better on the upper decks?

Thank you for your input.

I asked Celebrity this question when we booked two years ago. They are apparently all the same size, don't go by the deck plans. We eventually got an S1 on Penthouse deck. Have just booked another on Vista deck as that's all that was left. personally I'd like higher up. Not sure how much attention you'd get from butler if there were only two suites on a lower deck. But they are great cabins with bigger balconies.

Our butler on Century was responsible for 15 suites over 2 decks, 12 and 10. When we expressed surprise that he was able to provide such consistent excellent levels of service over 2 decks, he said, on the larger ships, the 15 suites can be over 5 decks. Can you imagine!

If they are all the same size then I suppose it is just about service and view from the balcony. I have read a few times on these boards or from conversations that the better service is on the higher decks. I have only had 1 celebrity cruise so far and the service was so good, I hope to get it again!

Okay..if they are going between decks then maybe the continental deck does have a butler. Do they have a private elevator? :o

Thank you..
