CruiserBruce Posted January 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Yes. Tons of them. On the Panama Canal board? How about the Florida Departures board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Steeler Transplant Posted January 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2012 Yes, lines of taxis await. Once outside the terminal, just follow the signs for the taxi area, and dispatchers will direct you to the next taxi. We were a group of four, and were sent right over to a waiting van taxi. Much more economical than booking through the ship. Have a great time!
Richard in Panama Posted January 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2012 However . . . if you happen to be in the port when there are lots of ships expect a shortage of taxis. It all depends on how many ships are in port on a particular day. Yes, it is cheaper than letting the ship worry and take care of everything, but again depending on the number of ships, you may have to wait and scramble for a cab.
