tinlizzy Posted January 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2012 'There but for the grace of God, go I' pretty much sums up how and why I feel so connected to this tragedy. I also wonder how many cruiseline executives are thinking the same thing for an entirely different reason. I would like to propose a ribbon awareness campaign to promote cruise ship safety and honor the souls who died in this accident. An Italian colored ribbon. A little ribbon to wear when you first board the ship (any ship) until after the muster drill to remind the cruiselines (all cruiselines) that safety is foremost in our minds. Cruisin D Posted January 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2012 A very heartfelt & thoughtful idea, I would wear one.
Unknotted Posted January 24, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2012 If word got out enough that people would recognize what it is for, I'd be happy to wear one.

Smurfette&Trojan Posted January 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2012 That's a sweet gesture! :) I don't wear ribbons, bracelets, tshirts or anything else commemorating one's struggle or accomplishments, otherwise I'd order some from you straight away.
