I am going to be booking 3 cabins on Carnival, 6 different people are going and everyone is paying for themselves, is there a way to do this through Carnivals website or do each person need to call?

You should ask this question directly on the Carnival board for an exact answer...Does Carnival have a complimentary 24 hour hold available on their website ? RCI does and this makes it easy to book. Or if your friends will give you all their necessary info you can easily book everything for them..Best of luck..

I would do it via phone...they can send confirmation. On the phone, it's just easier!!
