I've read that there are places to get water/snacks along the trail, but are there public restrooms available at any point? Thanks for the help.

Yes.. close to bus station there are public restrooms with cost 0.50 euro

But I think that is in Fira, not along the way so go before you leave.

No restrooms along the way that I noticed. There may be one at the snack stand - we didn't look. It is a very private walk - I think we past maybe 4 other people on the whole walk (so in an emergency - you could get the job done).
