carol louise Posted February 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2012 Are bathrobes provided in all classes of cabins on the Summit? We will be in a standard balcony (no Aqua or Concierge) cabin later this spring. This is my first Celebrity cruise and am wondering if they provide these as some other lines do. It sure eases packing not to bother with a robe. Thanks!

sarafinadh Posted February 8, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2012 We have an OV on the Millennium and I had been wondering about this, thanks so much for posting the info!
Mulege Posted February 8, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2012 Yes, they are very thin. The plush ones are in Concierge/Agua class and above.
Christine Frances Posted February 8, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2012 There are quite a few people who have mentioned that they have exchanged their plush robes for the waffle type as the former were too hot for the Caribbean.
fleckle Posted February 8, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2012 There are quite a few people who have mentioned that they have exchanged their plush robes for the waffle type as the former were too hot for the Caribbean.Yes, we have done that several times with no problem. The plush robes are great for bundling up in Alaska but we find them much too warm, heavy and bulky for warm weather itineraries like the Caribbean and Panama Canal. sarafinadh Posted February 9, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 9, 2012 What would happen if I wanted one of the warmer robes and asked for that instead of the waffle type?
librarylady19 Posted February 9, 2012 #9 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Well, thats probably as likely to happen as getting a footstool:o
sarafinadh Posted February 9, 2012 #10 Share Posted February 9, 2012 uhh... footstool? Should I read that as no way? And I should be embarrassed for asking? Embarrassed for thinking of asking? I tend to be cold all the time. A thicker robe would be more comfortable for me, that's all. Not expecting a princess and the pea service response.
