Does anyone know... does Carnival charge a fee to ugrade? We have one room booked, but our fave room type is now available for 30.00 more. If I called to changed rooms, would I have to pay more than just the 30.00 difference?

Never been charged a fee (just the fare difference:D)

I was told you can change rooms on the same cruise as long as you stay in the same catagory or upgrade....no down grading.

You may have to pay increased taxes and port fees if they went up.

Thats only ES and pack n go that you cant downgrade.

 

Though after final payment if you were not ES I dont know why you would want to downgrade if you cant get OBC. But you would be allowed.

 

ES specifically says no downgrading .. but other rates do not have this stipulation.
