destiny217 Posted February 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Just got off the phone with RC and they told me that the Friends and Family certificate applies to all who book within 30 days of my booking. New cruiser to RC or past passengers. Our TA said they told her, it only applies to passengers new to RC. Please help!
IBookHePays Posted February 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2012 We had no trouble booking our children for the Friends and Family and they have been on many cruises, all RC.
Daghis Posted February 23, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2012 It sounds like the TA somehow got the Friends & Family certificate confused with the Bring a Friend promotion. For that, the person you invite along "must be a first-time cruiser with Royal Caribbean" and for that you get $25 in onboard credit.

For the Bring A Friend promotion, the "friend" must be new to RCI. For the Friends and Family certificate, it can be anyone, whether they have cruised RCI in the past or not.
